FORT WORTH -- Yet another major water main break - the fourth in four days - shut down a North Texas street and cut off water service for 90 customers Thursday afternoon.
Around 4:15 p.m. a 20-inch pipe ruptured on Ranch View Road near Overton Park Drive. The majority of the water flowed into a nearby creek, so there was no damage to homes or buildings in the area.
The water was still pumping out of the break as of 9:35 p.m. Thursday as crews worked to cut off the flow.
About 90 customers were without water for hours, and a Fort Worth Water Department spokesperson couldn't say when the pipe is expected to be repaired.
This week, there have been major water main breaks in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Anna in Collin County.
