Just before midnight Monday night Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire on the 1600 block of Hicks Field Road.

The fire was quickly contained and the fire chief started releasing fire companies just after midnight.
Firefighters had to cut through a metal wall to respond to the smoke on the south side of the Thermacor Process Inc. structure, said Carol Jones, a fire department spokeswoman.

There was no one inside the secured building and while the cause of the fire is still unknown, the fire investigator does not suspect foul play by any means, Jones said.

The Thermacor Process Inc. has been in business for more than 30 years, according to a press release.
