FORT WORTH — Two people and their dog escaped a fire in far southwest Fort Worth on Saturday afternoon.
The two-alarm fire apparently broke out in one backyard around 1 p.m. and then spread to an adjoining property.
Firefighters were working to put out another small fire a few blocks away when they heard a noise and saw a ball of fire coming from behind a duplex in the 6400 block of Woodbeach Drive.
The fire involved two outbuildings and burned the back of the duplex. No cause or damage estimate were available.
No one was hurt.
