ARLINGTON — Investigators said an out-of-control car struck a house in southeast Arlington early Saturday morning, killing its driver.
According to a statement from Arlington police, the 2005 Cadillac CTS had been traveling southbound on New York Avenue around 2:45 a.m. when it left the roadway and hit a fire hydrant and a fence before rolling over and crashing into the front of a house in the 1800 block of Faithful Trail.
The driver of the Cadillac — the only person in the car — was dead at the scene. She was identified as 20-year-old Andrea Dominguez of Fort Worth.
No one in the house was injured, but the impact knocked down the wall of a bedroom and the living room of the brick structure.
