FORT WORTH — A City of Fort Worth audit has cleared the National Cutting Horse Association.

A former employee alleged the association exaggerated attendance at Fort Worth events to boost state subsidies.

The audit did find unintentional math errors in its reports to the city.

The NCHA is scheduled to receive $3 million in subsidies over the next year.
