ARLINGTON –– Arlington police are investigating a shooting near the 1100 block of Arkansas that left at least three men wounded.

Officers pulled over a SUV at the corner of Pioneer Parkway and Daniel Drive at about 2:45 p.m. and found three men shot and wounded with non-life threatening injuries.

The initial call came at 2:35 p.m. and reported gunshots ringing out from the 1100 block of Arkansas, located about two blocks southwest from where the SUV was pulled over. Police suspect that the victims knew the suspect or suspects. There were 10 people inside the SUV when police pulled it over.

The shooting happened outside a beauty supply store across from an apartment complex just east of Collins Street. A witness there said he heard a fight about 10 minutes before the shooting.

A police spokesman has not detailed the incident. The crime scene remains active.
