2.6 magnitude earthquake
BURLESON -- The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 2.6-magnitude earthquake occurred three miles east-northeast of Burleson Wednesday night.
The epicenter of the quake, which occurred at 8:10 p.m., was a little more than two miles east of I-35W, near Spinks Airport.
Multiple viewers called and posted comments on WFAA's Facebook page to report the tremor.
"I felt it I'm located in Hulen Heights in SW Ft. Worth," said Facebook commenter Nancy Senato. "I heard a rumble then felt like a car ran into the house!"
There were no initial reports of injuries or damage.
