DALLAS — Dallas County's top election official says he is quitting after 23 years.
Elections administrator Bruce Sherbet told The Dallas Morning News he will resign in March.
Sherbet said he thinks new County Judge Clay Jenkins and Commissioner John Wiley Price are trying to push him out.
On Tuesday, News 8 reported that Jenkins called the first meeting of the county's election commission in more than 20 years. Jenkins has not commented on Wednesday's development.
