Rockwall police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who has posed as a fire extinguisher service technician to steal from businesses.

In a press release, police say the man went into the back room of the store and stole employees’ wallets out of their purses.

As seen in surveillance camera footage, the man was wearing an orange safety vest during the thefts. Police also released a driver’s license photo of the man and call him a potentially violent suspect. The man has not been named.

He is also wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in May, during which the suspect physically assaulted the victim and threatened them with a handgun.

Rockwall PD asks anyone with information regarding the suspect or if they see him enter their place of business to contact the Rockwall Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 972.771.7716.
