Man faces manslaughter charge after fatal Oak Cliff crash

DALLAS -- A man was killed and another faces jail time after a deadly wreck in Oak Cliff on Sunday.

Just before 9 p.m. on Sept. 11, Xin Yang, 42, was driving a Honda Civic westbound in the center lane of West Kiest Boulevard while the 24-year-old suspect was driving a Ford Taurus in the center lane of South Hampton Road.

Police say the suspect ran the red light at the intersection of Hampton and Kiest while speeding, which caused him to slam into the driver side of Yang's Civic.

Yang died at the scene of the crash.

The suspect, who hasn't been identified, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Police say when he is released, he will be arrested on a manslaughter charge.
