Jury: 'Insufficient evidence' to indict man accused in Southlake sex assault

FORT WORTH -- A Tarrant County Grand jury found insufficient evidence to indict a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Southlake restaurant.

A jury handed over a "no bill," which means there wasn't enough evidence to move the case to a trial.

Last year in September, Ellan Thomas was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at Gloria's on Southlake Boulevard.  A woman reported to police that a man assaulted her in the restroom and fled the scene.
