Missing man
GARLAND — Garland police said late Saturday that the body of a missing elderly man was found.
Truett Hamby, 73, had last been seen at the senior citizen community where his lived in the 1300 block of Colonel Drive. Hamby suffered from dementia and Parkinson's disease.
His body was found Saturday evening in a partially-wooded area of the Eastern Hills Country Club, less than one mile away.
Garland police said while they do not suspect foul play, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office will rule on Hamby's cause of death.
