Power restored at Dallas schools after truck hits transformer

DALLAS — Power was restored to Woodrow High School in Dallas after it was knocked out when a truck struck a power line.

The power outage threatened to cancel classes Monday at Woodrow, but was restored by 1 a.m. Monday.

The accident also cut off power at Long Middle School, but a district spokesperson said it was turned back on Sunday.
