LEWISVILLE — A big two-story home overlooking The Lakes at Castle Hills golf course in Lewisville went up in flames early Saturday morning.

At one point, four ladder trucks were pouring water on the flames in the 2600 block of Round Table Boulevard in the Castle Hills subdivision.

Lewisville called four alarms due to the need to rotate firefighters in and out, and several other cities provided mutual aid.

Fire department officials said the four-bedroom, 5,000 square foot house was being renovated, and that no one was hurt.

The property, valued at more than $900,000, was declared a total loss.
