CARROLLTON — There were new charges Wednesday in the murder-for-hire plot of a Carrollton mother and wife.
Investigators believe he was part of a plot — along with Nancy Howard's husband, John Franklin Howard — to have her killed.
She was shot in the head at her home two weeks ago. She lost one eye in the attack, but is expected to recover.
Police have not yet named a suspect in the shooting, which has raised concerns among neighbors.
