DENTON COUNTY -- Many voters reported issues with machines at some Denton County polling locations Monday morning.
Officials say the machines were programmed for Election Day, not for early voting. New equipment was brought in at about 9:30 a.m. and voting soon returned to normal.
One viewer told WFAA that the machines weren't working in Highland Village, where there was a long line of people hoping to cast their ballots. Once a new machine was brought in, she was able to cast her vote.
Other voters took to social media Monday morning to voice their frustrations.
