DALLAS — Federal agents raided a multi-million dollar home in Dallas' prestigious Preston Hollow neighborhood on Tuesday, the first revelation of a high-level investigation.
IRS agents and a couple of DEA agents searched the home of Jeremy Wiggains. They carried out boxes of evidence from the 7,400 square foot property in the 6500 block of Northaven Road.
The search warrant in this case is sealed, and the IRS could not confirm what this investigation is about.
Public records show Wiggains filed for bankruptcy last week, and has at least 200 creditors listed. He claims he owes up to $50 million and has only $1 million in assets.
Among the creditors listed are former Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett and current cornerback Orlando Scandrick.
Boardwalk Lamborghini and Boardwalk Ferrari are also among the creditors.
Wiggains lives in the $3.5 million home in the Hillcrest Estates subdivision with his wife and two children.
