DALLAS -- Two men died in a forklift accident Wednesday night at a plastics company in southwest Dallas.

Dallas Fire-Rescue Public Information Officer Jason Evans said the two men were crushed by an unmanned forklift around 7 p.m. while they were tending to a load at the back of a truck at Georg Fischer Central Plastics, a plastic pipe company in the 4900 block of Joseph Hardin Drive.

It was unclear Wednesday night what caused the forklift to roll into the men, but the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.

The victims have not been identified.
