Police in three North Texas counties were investigating fatal accidents on Sunday morning.

In Lewisville, a sport utility vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 35E crashed and rolled over near the Garden Ridge Boulevard exit around 7:15 a.m. One person died at the scene; another passed away a short time later at a hospital. Four others were injured.

Police said the group was headed home to Nebraska from Houston.

One person was killed when a Jeep and a Pontiac Grand Prix collided in the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Trinity Mills Road.

The Jeep went airborne over the guardrail and fell 15 feet to the service road below. The passenger in the Jeep was killed and the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Investigators said the person in the Pontiac was not badly hurt.

In Arlington, a Ford F-250 pickup truck crashed down an embankment along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Fielder Road at around 2:30 a.m. Arlington Police Department spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard said the driver -- who was the lone occupant -- was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.

And the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office reported another fatal accident resulting from the collision of two motorcycles near Eagle Mountain Lake.

Nathan Berman of Fort Worth, 66, was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m. following the wreck near the intersection of FM 718 and Maxwell Boulevard in northwest Tarrant County.
