DALLAS — An argument between rival gangs at a South Dallas nightclub turned deadly early Sunday morning when gunfire erupted.
Police said the BNH Club in the 2600 block of South Harwood Street was having a "teen function" when there was a disturbance, which was broken up by armed security guards using mace.
Shots were fired when the fight spilled outside the club, and police found six other gunshot victims when they were called shortly after 1 a.m.
One man, 21-year-old Terrance Carroll, was pronounced dead at Parkland Memorial Hospital; the other gunshot victims were expected to recover from their wounds.
Officers arrested 22-year-old Eugene Rudd on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. No bond was set, and police said additional charges are pending.
