DUNCANVILLE — Suspected copper thieves led police on a high-speed chase through two cities early Sunday morning.

The pursuit started at Interstate 20 and Bonnie View Road in Lancaster around 5:30 a.m. when police noticed a suspicious pickup truck leaving a vacant building.

Officers tried to stop the vehicle when it took off.

The chase ended less than 30 minutes later in Duncanville after police laid down spikes on Hamilton Street to flatten the truck's tires.

One man was arrested; two other suspects in the truck managed to escape on foot.
