DALLAS — Mounted Dallas police units scoured an area along Five Mile Creek Tuesday looking for a 74-year-old woman who has been missing since the weekend.

Lillie Sanders walked away from a South Dallas residence in the 1500 block of Ann Arbor Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said Sanders has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and depression, and is not currently taking her medication.

The horse patrol called off their search around five o'clock Tuesday, but other police units continued their search for the missing woman.

Sanders is described as black, 5'-6", 150 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt, gray pants, black shoes and was carrying a black trash bag containing clothing.
