Fatal motorcycle crash
Irving police said a motorcycle rider who was traveling too fast crashed and died Sunday morning.
Police spokesman John Argumaniz said the motorcycle — driven by Carlos Walter of Crowley — was taking the exit from westbound Highway 183 to southbound President George Bush Turnpike at around 5 a.m. when he was unable to negotiate the curve.
The cycle hit a barrier wall and its operator was thrown from the vehicle.
Walter, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.
