DALLAS — A bar brawl in East Dallas early Saturday morning left one person dead and another injured.
Police spokesman Sgt. Warren Mitchell said officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Club Extasis in the 5400 block of East Grand Avenue shortly before 3:30 a.m.
Witnesses said a man was attacked by several suspects and hit with a chair and a pool cue before being kicked in the head.
The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later at Baylor University Medical Center.
According to a police affidavit, a witness said 23-year-old Federico Prado kicked the victim in the head several times after he was lying on the floor. A felony murder warrant for Prado's arrest was issued on Saturday.
Another customer at the bar was assaulted and bloodied, but told police he did not recall how the injury occurred and refused additional medical treatment.
