IRVING — Irving City Manager Tommy Gonzalez could lose his job as early as this week.

The City Council has just called a special meeting to consider terminating his contract.

Gonzalez' contract is up in May, but there's been a lot of controversy involving the money he's making and other ethical concerns.

He is already one of highest-paid public employees in Texas.

The meeting over his contract will be Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
