DALLAS -- A fatal three-vehicle accident shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate-35 East Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 3:10 p.m. near Northwest Highway. Firefighters say one person was killed when they were thrown from a vehicle.
Traffic was being diverted to the service road, but accident was cleared by 6 p.m. according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.
At least two people were transported to Parkland Hospital. Their identities and conditions are unknown at this time.
