FARMERS BRANCH – The Farmers Branch Police Department needs help finding the driver of a truck who ran over a motorcyclist and sped away Friday afternoon.
Department spokesman Chad Taylor said the motorcyclist was traveling north in the 14000 block of Interstate 35E at 2:39 p.m. when he drove his bike into the back of a vehicle.
As he fell to the pavement, witnesses said a third vehicle ran the man over and fled. The truck is a gold diesel Ford F-250 crew cab with a long bed. It’s either a 2005 or a 2006, Taylor said.
The driver is a white man in his late 30s to early 40s with a medium build and graying hair. The motorcyclist is stable at Parkland Hospital. He has not been identified.
