A 28-year-old Dallas woman and her four children who were reported missing by a family member are safe, Dallas police said.
Katrina Hernandez and the kids were headed to Michigan, but two weeks later, they had not arrived.
Hernandez' brother, Kenneth Gordon, called Dallas police when she didn't show up. Gordon said he last talked to her when she was driving west along Interstate 20 between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Hernandez was reportedly on her way to pick up a car she found on Craigslist, and she was said to have been carrying $4,800 in cash.
Dallas police said Tuesday they have spoken to Hernandez and are satisfied that she and the children are in no danger.
