DALLAS -- Police are looking for the driver who hit an injured man in the road and kept going.

Deon Hamilton, 25, was killed Sunday night after being hit by two cars.

It happened at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Garland Road and E. Northwest Highway in east Dallas.

The first car stopped immediately, police said, but the second vehicle - a dark-colored SUV - hit and dragged Hamilton and kept going.

Hamilton was rushed to Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake where he was later pronounced dead.

Dallas police are urging anyone with information to come forward with tips.

Hamilton was only about a mile from his home when he was struck and killed.
