Dallas tire shop shooting
DALLAS -- A Dallas man remains in critical condition Tuesday after being shot outside of his tire shop Monday evening.
Mohamed Alkilani, 42, was standing outside his business on the 800 block of South Buckner Boulevard when he was approached by an unknown Hispanic male who shot Alkilani multiple times, according Dallas police spokesperson. The suspect, about 5’9” and weighing 160 lbs, then fled on foot, carrying a silver pistol.
Miguel Medina was in the parking lot when he heard the shots and followed the suspect on foot. The suspect fired shots at Medina, but didn't hit him.
The suspect then took off in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition.
Alkilani was transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition as of Tuesday morning, according to Sgt. Warren C. Mitchell.
The motive for the shooting is still unclear.
