Cyclist fatally struck by car in Dallas; driver not facing charges

DALLAS -- A cyclist was killed Thursday night in Dallas after crossing paths with a car.

It happened near the 2400 block of North Haskell near Cityplace about 9:45 p.m. Thursday.

Two cyclists pulled out in front of the vehicle, according to Dallas police.

A 19-year-old man was hit, and trapped under the car. Police said the man did not survive.

The other cyclist was not injured.

Neither cyclist's identity was released.

At this time, the driver is not facing charges.
