DALLAS (AP) — A Dallas Arboretum exhibit by famed glass artist Chihuly (chuh-HOO'-lee) will run through the end of the year.
Arboretum officials Wednesday announced an extension of the original Nov. 5 closure date due to the popularity of the outdoor show.
Museum officials say more than 461,000 visitors have viewed the exhibit since the display opened May 5.
A June storm with hail the size of baseballs damaged some of the delicate Chihuly pieces. Several parts of the "Persian Pond" were broken and had to be replaced.
