A former Garland youth pastor who was charged with child sex crimes will spend 22 years in prison.
Derek Hutter pleaded guilty in June to child enticement.
His victim told a counselor that Hutter had a continuous sexual relationship with her starting when she was just 13 years old. The girl said the encounters happened at South Garland Baptist Church and at Hutter's home in Garland.
The girl had been in his youth group at South Garland Baptist Church.
Hutter was arrested last October after police were alerted by the girl's parents.
On Wednesday Hutter was sentenced to 264 months, or 22 years, in prison.
