DISD insists students are safe from Ebola

DALLAS -- The Dallas School District is taking every precaution to make sure kids are safe.

Thomas Eric Duncan, the man infected with Ebola, had contact with five students at four different schools -- Hotchkiss Elementary, Dan D. Rogers Elementary, Tasby Middle School, and Conrad High School.

Now cleaning crews are at each of them, wiping down classrooms.

Health officials insist that no children at any of the schools are at risk.

Superintendent Mike Miles mentioned in a press conference Thursday that attendance at the four schools affected is down to 86 percent -- the same as other DISD schools.

DISD says to call (972) 925-5810 for questions.
