There was a big milestone Monday for the Dallas woman who was attacked by a shark in the Bahamas.
Lacy Webb, 34, walked on her own and even smiled for the camera.
Webb was snorkeling with her husband last Monday in about eight feet of water when the shark struck. It got a mouthful of her back.
Webb underwent her third surgery Monday at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and several more could be necessary.
After examining a tooth collected from her wound, scientists believe she might have been attacked by a great white shark and not a tiger shark as originally thought.
Doctors said she is lucky to be alive.
Webb is expected to stay at the South Florida hospital for at least another couple of weeks before she can return home.
