Body found
BEDFORD — Bedford police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who was found in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 near Brown Trail around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Lt. Kirk Roberts said the woman may have been dropped off in the area before her death.
The woman was described as white, in her mid to late 20s, with dark hair. She was wearing a bathing suit and blue jean shorts.
Investigators are hoping that surveillance video at a nearby business may have captured an image of the woman walking along the freeway minutes before she died.
