MANSFIELD — A woman was shot and wounded during a home invasion robbery in Mansfield Wednesday.

Police spokeswoman Sonja Brannen said the noon hour incident in the 3200 block of Matlock Road is under investigation.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Texas Health Fort Worth for treatment of what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

No suspects were in custody.

Police do not believe this incident is related to a home invasion robbery in Watauga on Tuesday in which three men attacked two women. The suspects in that case also remain at large.
