DALLAS — A 51-year-old woman is recovering after falling down an embankment along White Rock Creek Sunday afternoon.

It happened after 3 p.m. near Park Central, south of LBJ Freeway.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said the woman fell about 11 feet. Crews at the scene said they believed she has some mental health issues, and had likely been down there for several hours.

The woman was muddy, but did not appear to be seriously injured.
