Denton County plane crash
DENTON COUNTY — Two people were able to walk away after their small plane crashed near the town of Krum Tuesday night.
The plane went down in a pond about 11 miles northwest of Denton at 8:30 p.m.
Officials said the aircraft was submerged in the pond but its two occupants were able to crawl out and reach the shore safely.
The pilot drove to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries; no names were available.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident.
