Fatal accident
DALLAS — Two people were killed in an accident on LBJ Freeway in Dallas Friday night.
It happened at about 11 p.m. in the eastbound HOV lane near Josey Lane.
DART spokesman Mark Ball said the crash involved two speeding cars that crashed into a barrier, but no other details were available.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office said the victims were a man and a woman.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit operates the HOV lanes on LBJ Freeway.
