DALLAS — A large party tent on the turf at the Cotton Bowl collapsed Tuesday morning after rain, ice, snow and high wind pounded the Fair Park area.
No one was hurt.
The tent is scheduled to be the site of the XLV Party on Friday and Saturday nights.
Dallas Tent and Event explained that workers were in the process of taking down the tent due to snow and ice buildup on the tent when it collapsed "a bit sooner than we had expected."
The company says the tent will be rebuilt the first thing on Wednesday and should be ready in time for the weekend party events
