FORT WORTH — Wendell Halkman, who was already jailed on drug and gun charges now faces a much more serious charge: Capital murder.
Police linked Halkman, 36, to the murder of store owner Ehab Shiber. The father of three was killed during an April 5 robbery at the Village Food Store.
Shiber was slain the day before he was to renew his wedding vows.
Halkmon's bond for the capital murder charge was set at $750,000.
