FORT WORTH — Fort Worth fire investigators will be looking for the cause of a Wednesday night's massive warehouse fire near the Stockyards.

The building — near Main Street and Northwest 23rd — was fully engulfed in flames when the first units arrived around 9:15 p.m. Firefighters were forced to go into defensive mode for their own safety.

Several aerial trucks poured water on the fire. The empty building was destroyed.

No one was hurt.
