DALLAS -- A man severed his finger while at an exhibit at The Perot Museum of Science and Nature that measures how high you can jump.
News 8 previously reported a man was injured on December 30 at the museum, but Thursday the tape of a 911 call revealed the nature of the injury.
In the call, the caller said a man had an "amputated finger," and the dispatcher recommended to put the finger on a clean cloth in a bag of ice.
The exhibit remains closed as the situation is reviewed.
