North Texas earthquakes
The U.S. Geological Survey detected a small earthquake in North Texas on Saturday afternoon, the latest in a series of of tremors over the last week.
The 3.0-magnitude quake struck at 1:54 p.m. eight miles northwest of Azle, just south of Springtown.
There were no initial reports of damage or injuries.
Saturday's tremor follows a 2.4-magnitude quake near Azle at 9:34 p.m. on Friday.
There have been a total of six earthquakes in North Texas this week.
