TOOL, Texas — Texas Parks and Wildlife recovered the body of a man who likely drowned at Cedar Creek Lake Saturday afternoon.

Friends identify him as Robert George, a regular on Cedar Creek Lake, and a well loved Orthodontist who operated a practice in Garland. He also had family connections to Boy Scout Troop 890 out of Lake Highlands.

Boaters spotted George on a personal watercraft late Saturday afternoon.

"We can attest to the fact that someone saw a person on that particular Jet Ski around 4:45 p.m.," said Capt. Mike Hanson with TP&W Law Enforcement.

It was what another group saw later that has them worried.

"Some folks that were on the lake actually witnessed the Jet Ski running at idle, and turning around in circles on the lake," he said.

The Henderson County Sheriff says a life jacket was found on that Jet Ski. George's body will be sent for an autopsy.

Cedar Creek Lake is located 60 miles southeast of Dallas.
