ROWLETT - Rowlett police are looking for a woman who scammed an elderly woman out of $9,000.

Police said the suspect approached an elderly woman outside a Goodwill Store in the 400 block of West Interstate 30 in Garland and convinced her that she found an envelope full of cash but needed to deposit the money with mixed up serial numbers. She told the elderly woman she would split the money with her if she gave her money without matching serial numbers.

The suspect is seen on the left in the picture. If you have any information about the identity of the woman, please call the Rowlett Police Department
