RICHARDSON - Seventeen Richardson Independent School District students were transported to area hospitals for medical evaluations after one school bus rear-ended another school bus.

Together, two Dallas County buses were carrying about 120 Richardson ISD students to school when the accident happened at Royal Lane and Skillman Street this morning in Dallas.

Several students complained of aches and pains and were transported to local hospitals, including Children's Medical, Presbyterian and Medical City Dallas.

A Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman at the scene said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
