The North Texas Tollway Authority released raw video Thursday of a DART van slamming into the back of a vehicle leading to a multi-vehicle wreck on the Dallas North Tollway.
The five-vehicle crash that happened Friday afternoon injured two people.
In the video, you can see a DART paratransit van drive straight into the back of a vehicle stopped in a line of traffic on the ramp from southbound Dallas North Tollway to Interstate 35. The collision crushed the vehicle, and spurred a chain-reaction involving a total of five vehicles.
DART has reported that the accident was a "result of the van operator failing to slow with traffic."
The driver is on paid administrative leave as police investigate the crash.
