DALLAS — News 8 has learned that a rally is planned outside this week's meeting of Dallas County Commissioners following last week's controversial outburst.
A testy exchange between Commissioner John Wiley Price and a tea party activist Jeff Turner has prompted Commissioners to propose a new code of conduct for themselves.
In that exchange, Turner referred to Price as "chief mullah," and accused him of scheming to push out Dallas County's longtime elections chief Bruce Sherbet.
Price fired back, telling Turner and others to "go to hell."
Commissioners will vote on the code of conduct at Tuesday's meeting.
